80Ghz Radar Sensor for Continuous Level Measurements of Liquids
The VEGAPULS 64 is a sensor for continuous level measurement of liquids. With small tanks or in case of narrow space the small process fittings offer special advantages. The very good signal focusing enables the use in vessels with many installations such as e.g. stirrers and heating spirals. The PULS64 operates on the 80GHz transmission frequency. This allows a 3 degree radar beam - the narrowest beam available for tank level indication. A 3 degree radar beam can avoid obstacles in the tank, is unaffected by debris on the tank walls, and will only reflect off the surface of the liquid in the tank.
When it comes to no-contact level measurement of liquids in small containers, smaller is better. The PULS64 offers the smallest sensor of it's kind in the TLI market, a wide range of process fittings, and a 3 degree focused radar beam, making it perfect for smaller tanks.
