This technical sales position is responsible for NAG Business Development efforts for government and commercial customers that own, operate, build, repair and modernize vessels.
Key customer focus will include Military Sealift Command, USCG and Army afloat (collectively DoD Marine). In addition to selling our existing products, this position will seek to identify potential new product requirements, and work closely with NAG Engineering and Product Development to launch new products.
We are seeking a technical salesperson to join our team who will succeed at specifying our existing products into projects on the front end, as well as, be opportunistic in identifying opportunities to develop new products which solve a customer problem and align with our core competencies. This position (you) will lead our growth into new shipboard systems and applications by establishing relationships across all levels of influencers including Engineering, Vessel Managers, Port Engineers, Chief Engineers, Project Managers and Contracting/Procurement at Key Accounts, naval architects and various shipyards. You will develop a strong working knowledge of our current and future products, and interface with influencers at customer sites to get NAG specified into the various applicable systems and projects.
This is a salaried position with bonus potential.
