NAG Marine Programmable Logic Controllers consist of shock approved enclosures in 24"x24" and 36"x36" configurations. Each enclosure contains Input and Output modules, Ethernet Switch, modules and wiring to support Dual / Redundant ControlNet networks, and Dual / Redundant power supplies to support internal enclosure needs.
NAG Marine PLCs are fully qualified under MIL-S-901D for Grade 'A' shock, Class 1, Type A. The Allen-Bradley ControlLogix 5550 family, processor range 1756-L55M12 thru 1756-L55M16, is the NAG choice for CPU. Processor redundancy is possible on 1756-L55M13 and above using 1757-SRM modules with fiber optic interlinking. Total I/O count per CPU and redundancy requirements determines selection of series and model of CPU. Final choices are customized to the installation. Weight of the PLC with internal components:
